Bolger Logistical Ltd was incorporated in January 2010 and represents a further step in the evolution of the Bolger family involvement in the logistics industry. Tom Bolger originally established T.F. Bolger Transport in 1973 and grew this business significantly during the 1980s, offering warehousing, fulfilment and distribution services nationwide. Major clients included Reckitt and Coleman, now Reckitt Benckiser; Birds Foods, Shamrock Foods and Boyne Valley Foods to name a few. Distribution was to major national wholesalers and retailers, primarily in the FMCG sector.

During the 1990s, T.F. Bolger became more involved in services to the logistics sector dealing with more storage, returnable glass and packaging solutions servicing clients such as Bulmers Ltd, Quinn Glass and Lucey Transport. Bolger Logistical Ltd is a continuation of this involvement in the logistical services sector and the business remains a family affair and is currently managed and operated by members of the Bolger family.

Present positioning of the business is specific to the changing landscape of the logistics sector with a strong focus on satisfying demand from organisations that wish to outsource elements of the supply chain; expanding online businesses that need to outsource their stock management and fulfilment functions; and training services within the logistics sector while maintaining core areas of existing expertise in the returnable glass, storage and promotional packaging sectors.
